The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
